THE JOURNEY

A career built on people, pressure and purpose.

From football coaching and education to building a global virtual coaching school.

01
Early Career

Arsenal FC

Started coaching at one of the world's most recognised football clubs. Built the foundation of high-performance coaching and mental discipline from the ground up.

02
Teaching

Lindsey Wilson College, USA · National Champions 2005

Became a personal trainer tutor, mentoring students through their PT qualifications. More than a coach — a mentor who cared about students as people, not just grades.

03
2014/15

Student Impact

Supported students through major life events — including a student whose partner was pregnant during college. Known for going beyond the syllabus to help people succeed as human beings.

The Car Park Incident

3am. Underground car park. 6 men in balaclavas targeting vehicles including his motorbike. No hesitation. Chased them all away. Real Lion Mindset in action — captured on camera.

05
Now

Virtual Coaching School

Building a global platform bringing together fitness programmes, mindset coaching, football development, and live coaching sessions — all in one place. Worldwide reach, real results.

06
Training Method

Magic Ring & Pilates

No gym needed. Simba builds and maintains his physique using the Magic Ring and pilates — proving that effective training happens anywhere, with minimal equipment. A core part of the Shape & Glow programme.

CORE VALUES

What Simba stands for.

◈ 01

Authenticity

Everything taught is lived experience — not theory from a textbook.

◈ 02

Discipline

Consistency over motivation. Show up even when you don't feel like it.

◈ 03

Legacy

Leaving people better than you found them — students, clients, communities.

◈ 04

Courage

Act under pressure. The car park proved it. The students proved it.

“
I don't coach because it's a job. I coach because I've seen what happens when someone finally believes in themselves — and I want every person who comes through this school to feel that.
— Coach Simba
LIFE & LEGACY

Beyond the coaching room.

National Champions 01

National Champions

The NAIA National Championship ring — Lindsey Wilson College. Proof of what belief and discipline build.

Two Wheels 02

Two Wheels

Off the pitch and on the road. The same focus that drives every coaching session.

In The Saddle 03

In The Saddle

Riding out under an open sky — balance, calm and control, wherever the road leads.

“
Simba was one of the realest tutors we ever had. At the time my fiancée (now my wife) was pregnant, so things could've easily become stressful and overwhelming for us both, but Simba always made college feel easier and way more enjoyable. He wasn't just there to teach, he actually cared about us as people and always gave us emotional support when we needed it. He especially helped my wife feel comfortable and supported during her pregnancy which meant a lot to both of us. He made us believe we could get through college and succeed no matter what. Big respect to Simba — one of those tutors you never forget.

I'm so glad we started this training thing — for me and the boys. Since training with you, Ocean's filling out in a nice way and seeing them develop with the football is just awesome. We played a game right after and both of them were straight away totally different. Ocean is really excelling himself every single day, getting better and better. He's pretty committed to it — I don't see why in a year's time he couldn't be at that level if he keeps pushing.

Simba didn't just teach the syllabus — he taught us how to carry ourselves. How to walk into a room and own it. I still think about things he said years later.

Great MMA coach — for me and my sister in London. Hard work, but so much fun at the same time. The sessions were that good I wanted more each week. Genuinely one of the best coaches I've trained under.

You have done a great job with the children. Grazie for the beautiful words on Saphira's report — she even asked me, "Mamma, what did Mr Toko say about me?" As a teacher myself, I really appreciate the care and support you give. Thank you, Mr Toko.

Amazing teacher who helped me train and prepare — mentally and physically — for the GB Athletics team in 2015. Very well put together as a coach, and still performs to high levels himself. The mental side of his coaching is what sets him apart.
